Raipur: Chief MinisterBhupesh Baghel expressed deep grief on the death of Deputy Speaker of the Assembly Shri Manoj Singh Mandavi.

Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel has expressed deep grief over the sudden demise of Deputy Speaker of Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly Shri Manoj Singh Mandavi. The Chief Minister, in his condolence message, said that Mr. Mandavi was a senior tribal leader. He decorated many important posts including the Minister of State for Home and Deputy Speaker of the Legislative Assembly of the newly formed Chhattisgarh and served the state. He was elected as a member of the undivided Madhya Pradesh Legislative Assembly in the year 1998 and of the Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly in the year 2013 and 2018. Shri Mandavi was also the President of Chhattisgarh Tribal Development Council. 

The Chief Minister said that Shri Manoj Singh Mandavi was a big leader of the tribal society. He used to effectively place the problems of the tribals in the assembly. Shri Mandavi always strived for the progress of tribal society and development of his area.

His contribution in the development of the state will always be remembered. His death is an irreparable loss to all of us. Expressing condolences to the bereaved family members of Shri Manoj Singh Mandavi, the Chief Minister has prayed to God for the peace of the departed soul.
