World Tiger Day: Black panther seen in Achanakmar Tiger Reserve, pictures captured in trap camera, number of tigers increasing in the state’s tiger reserves

Jagdalpur. On the occasion of World Tiger Day, Chhattisgarh Wildlife has also received good news. The number of tigers is constantly increasing in the 2 Tiger Reserve Parks of the state. The Tiger Reserve Management has expressed happiness over the sighting of tigers in the trap cameras installed in Achanakmar Tiger Reserve as well as Indravati Tiger Reserve in Lormi district. Also, Black Panther (Melanistic Leopard) has been seen once again in Achanakmar. The picture of the Black Panther has been captured in the trap camera installed here.

Now the number of tigers in Achanakmar Tiger Reserve Park has increased to 10 and apart from this, the number of tigers in Indravati Tiger Reserve in Bijapur district has increased to 3. The manager of Indravati Tiger Reserve says that continuous efforts are being made for the conservation and promotion of tigers. And the tigers have been kept under complete surveillance in the Tiger Reserve.

The number of tigers in Indravati Tiger Reserve has also increased from 2 to 3. The trap cameras installed in this park have captured the pictures of tigers. Actually, Indravati Tiger Reserve is located on the Chhattisgarh and Maharashtra border and due to being a Naxal-affected area, a special team has been formed to take care of this Tiger Reserve. As a result of the monitoring of this team, the number of tigers has increased here in the last few years. The manager of the Tiger Reserve Park says that continuous efforts are being made for the conservation and promotion of tigers and as a result, the number of tigers is increaslocated on the Chhattisgarh and Maharashtra border and due to being a Naxal-affected area, a special team has been formed to take care of this Tiger Reserve.
