Women groups have a total of 14 members. He has installed 120 bags for mushroom production in Gothan. In which production will start in no time. Along with this, preparations are also being made to put more bags. Mushrooms produced by these groups are in good demand in the open market. Mushroom is a good source of protein that sells in both dry and wet forms. Gauthan’s fencing also uses tarjali made by the Mahua women’s self-help group. The group is also being talked about for fencing panchayats. Apart from this, vermi compost is being prepared in Gauthan by women of Kalpana group.

Due to the good quality of the fertilizer produced by them, the demand for this vermicompost for the use in the fields by the farmers has started to increase in abundance. The successful operation of the Mahua Women’s Self-Help Group has been the relentless efforts of Chairman Ms. Maya Sahu, Secretary Ms. Brijbai Manikpuri, Treasurer Ms. Ahilya Sahu and Kalpana Women’s Self Help Group Chairman Ms. Kusum Bai Sahu, Secretary Ms. Bhumika Sahu.
