. Raipur. A felicitation ceremony for women journalists was organized at the Chief Minister’s residence. All women journalists were felicitated in this ceremony. During this, Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai talked to journalists about his political journey and told about his journey from being a Panch to becoming the Chief Minister. During this, a years old incident came to light, which brought a smile on everyone’s face.
What happened was that after the Chief Minister had narrated the entire journey of his political career, a BJP woman leader stood up and said that while discussing this journey, the Chief Minister forgot to mention one incident. BJP leader Dr. Kiran said during the program that she had heard many stories of the Patwa government (undivided Madhya Pradesh government) from her father.
In this, he heard an incident from inside the House that when Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai became MLA for the first time, he was 26 years old and among the female MLAs, the then MLA Ranjana Baghel was the youngest female MLA. So once in the House, an MLA had said that both of you should get married. However, after this, the female leader also said that the Chief Minister was destined for his wife Mrs. Kaushalya Devi, so the relationship of 7 births has now been established with her.
Chief Minister said- Nari Shakti strengthens the fourth pillar of media
While addressing the women journalists, Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai said that media is the fourth pillar of democracy and it gets further strengthened by women power. On this occasion, CM Sai also felicitated all the women journalists including News 24 MP-CG and Lalluram.com’s production head Jyoti Singh, content editor Trisha Agarwal and Priyanka Sahu. The journalists also discussed women safety with the Chief Minister and appealed to plan a separate tour for them.
During this time, senior journalist Mrs. Jyoti Singh said that the government should increase the scope of the Samman Nidhi scheme given to senior journalists. She said that at present only a few journalists are able to avail its benefits, so by increasing its scope, other senior journalists will also be able to avail its benefits.
