Raipur. Claiming that Congress does not have majority in the Municipal Corporation, the BJP councilor party had demanded the resignation of Mayor Dhebar. On which Mayor Dhebar’s statement has come out. Dhebar said, the results were not as desired. There is no question of resigning. We will run for one more year. There are some rules and regulations and some constitution. Everyone is together. Some BJP people are also with us. He has said that we will support you when the voting takes place. Whereas Ejaz Dhebar cornered the BJP and said, the caste certificate of a senior councilor has been found to be completely fake. I have also got the documents found that have been examined. Even if we keep bringing no-confidence motion, I will get the by-elections done. Once it is confirmed then I will reveal it. Further Dhebar said, I have worked for Raipur before and will do so in future also. There was not a single independent among the 70 councillors. BJP has 31 and Congress has 39. There has been no independent. Ajit Kukreja has been expelled. Talks should be held with the leaders and workers on the basis of every booth.
Further Ejaz Dhebar said, media’s shoulder is being used to create pressure. One year is left, we will do more work. Neither will I come under anyone’s pressure and will work for the public.
