Voter ID slip generated online by SEC-ER, a software prepared by Chhattisgarh State Election Commission, has also been validated

18 types of documents have been accepted for establishing voter’s identity at the polling station for the general elections of municipalities and three-tier panchayats 2025. Chhattisgarh State Election Commission officials said that the documents include voter ID card issued by the Election Commission of India, bank / post office passbook with photo, passport, income tax identity card (PAN CARD), Aadhaar card, photo service identity card issued by state/central government, public sector undertaking or local body or other private industrial institutions to their employees, photo pension document, MNREGA job card, photo health insurance scheme (smart) card, driving license, freedom fighter photo identity card, Central or Chhattisgarh. Marksheets with photo of 10th and 12th issued by State Board of Secondary Education, photo identity card issued to advocates by Bar Council, disability certificate with photo, valid ration card with photo issued by Chhattisgarh government, student identity card with photo issued by college or school, arms license with photo and voter identity slip generated online by software SEC-ER prepared by Chhattisgarh State Election Commission have been accepted. The voter will take any one of the above photo identity cards to the polling booth and the identity will be established by the presiding officer.
The voter identity slip generated online by the software SEC-ER prepared by Chhattisgarh State Election Commission has been validated. This slip can be downloaded by the voter from the link given on the commission’s website, for this, by going to cgsec.gov.in website, you can see and print the details of your polling station by searching VOTER SEARCH & PRINT – URBAN and VOTER SEARCH & PRINT – RURAL name wise.
