With the aim of providing new possibilities in the field of employment and skill development to the youth in Chhattisgarh, today in Shaheed Smarak Auditorium, Raipur, under the chief hospitality of Deputy Chief Minister Shri Vijay Sharma and Forest and Skill Development Minister Shri Kedar Kashyap, Secretary of Skill Development, Technical Education and Employment Department, Shri S Bharatidasan signed MoU with CSRBox Foundation, CII Young Indians and Apnatech Private Limited. On this occasion, Director Technical Education and Employment Shri Rituraj Raghuvanshi, Vice President of Apnatech Private Limited Dr. Preet Singh, Vice President of CSRBox Foundation Shri Mano Viraj Singh, Vice President and Chairperson of CII Young Indians Shri Gaurav Agarwal, besides other officers, employees and students of various institutions were present.

On the occasion of the contract execution ceremony, Deputy Chief Minister Shri Vijay Sharma said that the Chhattisgarh government is fully committed to skill development of the youth and providing them employment opportunities. He said that today’s contract will prove to be a milestone in shaping the future of the youth of Chhattisgarh. Our aim is not only to provide jobs to the youth, but to provide them such skills that they can become self-reliant and achieve new heights in their field. The government will ensure that every student, whether from ITI or engineering college or polytechnic, has a fair opportunity for employment. Deputy Chief Minister Shri Sharma also clarified that the data of students registered for employment will be completely safe and it will be used only in the interest of the state. He assured that whatever services will be provided under the contract, they will be ensured with complete transparency and quality.

Deputy Chief Minister Shri Sharma appealed to the youth to register on CG Rojgar Portal and said that our aim is that every youth gets the right direction according to his ability and qualification. This government will make every possible effort to make the dreams of the youth come true. A new era of employment and skill development is starting in the state in collaboration with partners like Apnatech Private Limited, CSRBox and CII Young Indians. IBM will conduct free of cost certification course which will be available in ITI, Engineering and Polytechnic colleges of the state. With this course, students will be trained as per global standards and a target has been set to ensure employment to at least 10% of the students. Deputy Chief Minister Shri Sharma said that if the youth want, they can bring about the biggest change. He said that innovation starts with only an idea. We have to inspire our youth to not only create what is already in the market, but also create new products and solutions which are useful for the society. Success can be achieved only by making a small thought a big goal. With this contract the government has taken a new beginning in the field of skill development and employment, which will lead the youth of the state towards a bright future.

Forest and Skill Development Minister Shri Kedar Kashyap said on the occasion that the youth of Chhattisgarh have immense potential, but they need the right guidance and opportunities. This contract will ensure that the youth of rural and remote areas can also join the mainstream and showcase their capabilities. He said that the Chhattisgarh government wants to empower the youth and make them self-reliant.
