VIP Road High Profile Road Accident: Uzbek girl and DRI lawyer on police remand till 10th February, 3 people were injured in a car with Government of India written on it
Raipur . There has been a new twist in the high profile road accident on VIP Road in the capital Raipur. Uzbekistan’s young woman Nodira Tashkent and Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI)’s Special Public Prosecutor Bhavesh Acharya, arrested in this case, have been taken on remand by the police till February 10. The police is interrogating both the accused.
The police will investigate who called the foreign girl to Raipur and for what purpose she came here. There is also a suspicion that the girl was called to some high profile party, this is also being investigated.
Hit the youth riding a scooter, then created a ruckus on the road
On the midnight of 5 February, a speeding car hit three youths riding an Activa on VIP Road in Raipur. All three youths were seriously injured in this accident. Police reached the spot as soon as the information of the incident was received. All three injured have been admitted to Mekahara, where their treatment is going on. The car had ‘Bharat Sarkar’ written on it, in which a young man and a foreign girl were riding. After the accident, the girl created a ruckus. Telibandha police arrested both of them in the case.
During police interrogation of the girl who created the ruckus, it was found that the girl was not Russian but had come to Raipur from Uzbekistan. It was also found out that she had come to India on a tourist visa on January 30.
The man who made the drunk girl sit on his lap inside the car with Government of India written on it was in a high speed car of Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI). He was with Uzbek girl Nodira Tashkent (29 years). The man has been identified as Bhavesh Acharya (39 years), resident of Mahavir Nagar (police station Rajendra Nagar) and Special Public Prosecutor of DRI, who was also drunk. At present, both the accused have been taken on remand after being produced in the court today and further investigation will be done in the case.
