Governor Anusuiya Uike said that concerted efforts are being made in Chhattisgarh to prevent the infection of corona virus. The governor said – 09 corona positives were found in Chhattisgarh, out of which 03 patients have been recovered and discharged. The condition of other patients is also improving. In this regard, I spoke to the director of the Indian Institute of Medical Sciences, Chhattisgarh and inquired about every patient affected by the corona admitted there and wished all other patients a speedy recovery.
The Governor informed that references to Indian Red Cross Society have been identified about 5 thousand volunteers in the entire state, out of which 944 volunteers are actively working in the state, by which more than 17 thousand beneficiaries have been supported so far. is. The society is providing free food to the needy and people living in Quarantine. Simultaneously, the houses identified in Quarantine are also being monitored by them. Indian Red Cross Society has released a relief fund of 25 lakh rupees, which will be spent as per requirement in small and backward districts.
Ms. Uike said that more than 12 thousand workers of Chhattisgarh state are stranded in various 21 states of India, they were approached by the government and also by the government and coordinated by the concerned state to provide food and accommodation for them Has gone. The Governor informed that at present 355 relief camps have been set up in the state, in which 10 thousand migrant beneficiaries are staying. About 48 thousand people from outside the state have been kept under surveillance in school and community buildings outside the village. Also, in some institutions, workers will get an advance amount equal to 15 days’ salary, approximately Rs. Assistance of 22 lakh 98 thousand 550 has been provided. ECI Through 42 clinics in the state, 8,864 workers are treated and drug distribution is conducted.
The governor said that he has given one month’s salary in the Prime Minister’s Relief Fund and Chief Minister’s Relief Fund, and all the officials and employees of Raj Bhavan have also been given their one-day salary in the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund. The Governor said that the Chief Minister and the Chief Secretary have been written to ask to follow the lockdown instruction given by the Prime Minister. Besides, information regarding the entire state was obtained by taking a joint meeting of Chief Secretary, Health Secretary, Food Secretary, Labor Secretary, Police and District Collector at Raj Bhavan and directed to give information regularly. At the same time, all the Vice Chancellors of the state have also been directed that college students should make people aware about prevention of corona virus through social media and other means.
Ms. Uike also said that in Chhattisgarh, samples of 1232 people have been taken so far and 921 of these reports have been negative. Along with this, about 11 thousand people have returned from abroad in Chhattisgarh. More than 20 thousand people have been screened at the airport and 48 thousand 113 people have been placed in home isolation, 71 quarantine centers have been built in the state, of which 1232 are in the beds. Apart from this, the governor also informed about the implementation of the instructions given by the Prime Minister and the efforts and schemes of the government. On this occasion, the governors of all the states and the lieutenant governors of the union territories were present.
