The process of online application for 5967 constable posts in Chhattisgarh Police Headquarters will start from January 1, 2024. Candidates will be able to apply online till 11.59 pm on 15 February 2024. Candidates can apply by visiting the website cgpolice.gov.in.
Police Headquarters had issued a notification regarding recruitment on 4 October 2023. However, it was postponed due to the imposition of code of conduct due to the assembly elections in the state. Educational Qualification:
Passed 12th or any equivalent examination.
Age Range :
Candidates belonging to 18 to 28 years, Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe or Other Backward Class (non-creamy layer) will be given relaxation of up to 5 years in the upper age limit.
Salary:
Rs 19500 per month. Apart from this, allowances like HRA, DA etc. will be given.
Selection Process:
This process includes document verification, PST, Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and written examination. PET includes long jump, high jump, shot put, 100 meter run and 800 meter run.
Exam Pattern:
The written examination will be of 100 marks. In this, questions will be asked from General Knowledge, Intelligence Ability, Analytical Ability and Arithmetic.
