Under the guidance of UIK, special health camps are being organized continuously by the team of community and primary health centers in every development block of the district from 21 November. Duty of health workers is being imposed by the Block Medical Officers for organizing health camps. For the camps, such villages of the development block are being selected which are in sparse and remote areas.
It is noteworthy that since November 21, 149 special health camps have been organized in the district, in which 3 thousand 673 patients have been treated. Among these, the ANC Number of patients 171, possible T.B. 29 patients of leprosy, 978 patients of leprosy and other diseases have been treated. In the camps organized in Antagarh development block, 785 patients, 672 in Bhanupratappur, 1975 in Charama, 375 in Durgukondal, 558 in Koyilibeda, 489 in Narharpur and 276 patients in health camps organized in Kanker development block have been treated.
