The Kovid Care Hospital in Pakhanjur has been started by the district administration from today, before the patients suffering from corona were being treated by being admitted to the Kovid Care Center built in ITI Bhavan, but now in the newly constructed Mother and Child Hospital (MCH) A 100-bed Kovid Hospital has been built, which was inaugurated today by Shri Anoop Nag, MLA of Antagarh Assembly Constituency. As per the requirement, a maximum of 250 beds can be provided in this hospital.
20 oxygen points have been constructed at Kovid Care Center Pakhanjur and currently there is availability of 70 oxygen cylinders, which will be extended as per the requirement. In this care center, 100 pulse oximeters and 100 thermometers have also been arranged for 100 beds. This well-equipped Kovid Care Center has 5 water purifiers, 22 oxygen concentrators, 02 ambulances and dedicated generator sets for drinking water and 24-hour doctors, medical staff and staff for cleanliness. All the floors of this Kovid Care Center operated in 57 rooms on three floors are separate from each other and all rooms have separate toilets. The ground floor has been reserved for the female ward, while the first floor has been fixed for the male ward. After inauguration of Kovid Hospital, all the wards, donning-doffing area, control room, registration desk, by MLA Mr. Anoop Nag Women wards operated on the ground floor, men wards operated on the first floor, automatic beds, medicine stores, etc. were inspected and discussions were held with duty-bound health workers. In view of the possible dangers of corona infection, the district administration was praised by MLA Shri Anoop Nag for completing the construction of modern Kovid Care Center in a short time for preparation. On the inauguration of Kovid Hospital, Shri Pankaj Shaha, Sub-Divisional Officer (R) Dhananjay Netam, District Mineral Officer Pramod Nayak, Food Officer TR Thakur, Tehsildar Pakhanjur Shekhar Mishra along with Naib Tehsildar Pakhanjur, Block Medical Officer of Koylibeda and Chief Executive Officer of Janpad Panchayat, Chief Municipal Officer Nagar Panchayat Pakhanjur, along with Health Department officials – employees were present. Medicine stores etc. were inspected and discussions were held with duty-bound health workers.
