North Bastar Kanker 08 May 2021. The Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel today held a meeting of all the subdivisional officers of Rajnandgaon and Kawardha districts including Bastar Division, Revenue and Police and Health Department officials and gave necessary instructions regarding control of Korana virus. All the SDMs, Tehsildars and Additional Collectors of Kanker district also participated in the said virtual meeting. Chief Minister Shri Baghel, while directing the subdivisional officers, said that more number of people should not be allowed to attend than the permission given for marriage. For this, apart from the SDM, Tehsildar, the police department was asked to impose duty to supervise the officers of the police department and the sarpanch, secretary, employment assistant, Patel and teachers at the village level. In the said meeting, Home Minister Mr. Tamradhwaj Sahu, Health Minister Mr. TS Singh Deo, Revenue Minister Mr. Jaisinghwal, Chief Secretary Mr. Amitabh Jain, Additional Chief Secretary Shri Subrata Sahu was also connected through video conferencing. Through video conferencing in the District Hall of the District Panchayat, the Additional Collector of the district S.P. Vaidya, Kanker SDM Umashankar Bande, Deputy Collector Vishwas Kumar and Tehsildar Manoj Markam also attended.
