Raipur, October 28: Urban Administration and Development Minister Dr. Shivkumar Dahria has announced Rs. 3 crore for the development of Balodabazar city. Dr. Dahria has made this announcement while addressing a meeting organized after inaugurating development works worth Rs. He has also announced to give Rs.10 lakh each for the construction of community building of Marar Patel community and building of pensioners society in Balodabazar. Shri Shailesh Nitin Trivedi, Chairman, Textbook Corporation, presided over the program organized on the occasion. State Farmers Welfare Council President Mr. Surendra Sharma, MLA Pramod Sharma, District Panchayat President Mr. Rakesh Kumar Verma, Municipal President Mr. Chittawar Jaiswal, District President Mr. Hitendra Thakur, District President Mrs. Suman Verma were present as special guests.
Urban Administration Minister Dr. Dahria while addressing the program said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel, all-round development has taken place in the state in the last three years. There is no dearth of funds for the development of urban areas. He said that out of 36 announcements made by Apni Apni Party during the last elections, 24 announcements have been fulfilled. He said that many schemes have been started by the state government for the development of farmers and poor. An incentive amount of Rs. 9 thousand per acre is being given to them. Farming is being promoted under the Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana. 10 thousand per acre are being given to the farmers who plant Kodo-Kutki and saplings. A new scheme has been started to give 6 thousand rupees per year to rural agricultural laborers.
Dr. Dahria said that in urban areas all basic facilities are being provided to the citizens with quality. In the field of cleanliness, the Urban Administration Department has been awarded with national level awards for two consecutive years. He said that people would get cheap medicines in urban body areas. For this, Shri Dhanwantri generic medicine shops are being opened in all the urban areas. Similarly, diagnostic centers will also be opened. People’s blood, feces, at a cheaper rate than the market rate Urine tests will be done. Tap water will be available to every household in urban areas. For this, a period of 2022-23 has been given. The doors of government jobs have opened in the new government. The native residents of our Chhattisgarh are being given priority in the job. Earlier, people from other states used to get more opportunities in recruitment. Municipal President Shri Chittawar Jaiswal delivered the welcome address at the function. He submitted a memorandum demanding development works on behalf of the people of the city. Chairman of Textbook Corporation Shailesh Nitin Trivedi, Chairman of Krishak Kalyan Parishad Shri Surendra Sharma, MLA Shri Pramod Sharma, District Panchayat President Shri Rakesh Kumar Verma also addressed the function.
