, Raipur. The Urban Administration and Development Department has taken strict action after the irregularities in the Telibandha-VIP road beautification case. Sub Engineer Prabhakar Shukla and Assistant Engineer Fattelal Sahu have been suspended. This step has been taken after a departmental inquiry, in which both the officers are accused of negligence in discharging their responsibilities.
Apart from this, Hemant Sharma, who was working as a superintending engineer, and Shibulal Patel, executive engineer, both have now retired. Orders for departmental inquiry have been issued against both of them under the pension rules.
Taking another important action in this case, the department has also ordered to issue a charge sheet against the then Zone Commissioner 10 Dinesh Kosaria. The department has made it clear that considering the seriousness of the allegations, strict action will be taken against all the responsible officers.
