Raipur. Union Minister of State for Railways and Jal Shakti V. Somanna is on a visit to Chhattisgarh today. During this, he paid a courtesy visit to Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai at his residence. Chief Minister Sai warmly welcomed Minister Somanna and presented him a symbol of Bastar art and a shawl. During the meeting, other important issues including the development of ongoing and proposed railway projects in the state were discussed. Chief Minister Sai discussed various issues with Union Minister Somanna including the development of railway projects in the state. On this occasion, Chief Minister’s secretaries P. Dayanand and Dr. Basavaraju S, Divisional Railway Manager Raipur Sanjeev Kumar and other officials were present. This visit of the Union Minister is being considered important from the point of view of railway development in Chhattisgarh.
