Both cubs kept in Jungle Safari (Zoo) Raipur

Both the leopard cubs found last day in Cherpalli village under Madaded buffer village area of Indravati Tiger Reserve, Bijapur are currently kept in Jungle Safari (Zoo) Raipur. Both the leopard cubs were tested by the vet and both the cubs were found healthy in the test.
It is worth noting that on November 12 evening, two leopard cubs were brought to Cherpalli village after being rescued from dogs by the local villagers under Indravati Tiger Reserve and the information was given by the villagers to the forest staff of the local Tiger Reserve. As soon as the information was received, Deputy Director Mr. Ganveer Dhammasheel along with his forest staff reached village Cherpalli and inquired about the cubs in detail from the local villagers.
On seeing the two cubs of the leopard, it seemed that both the cubs were born two or three times ago. In this regard, Principal Chief Conservator of Forests (Wildlife) Raipur and Chief Conservator of Forests (Wildlife) Jagdalpur were informed, in which instructions were received to leave both the cubs with their mother. The same evening both the leopard cubs were brought to the rest house of the Public Works Department of Bhopalpatnam and got tested by the local veterinarian and both the cubs were found healthy in the test. Both the cubs were identified as females after examination by the vet.
Necessary care was taken of both the cubs overnight by the forest staff and on the morning of 12th November, with the help of local villagers of Cherpalli, room number 773 was taken safely to the Madded campus and kept under observation at the same place from where the cubs were brought. So that they can be introduced to their mother leopard. For monitoring, 5 camera traps were also installed at the same place so that the movement of his mother could be known. In this regard, Principal Chief Conservator of Forests (Wildlife) Raipur and Chief Conservator of Forests (Wildlife) Jagdalpur were informed about this and instructions were received to leave both the cubs in Jungle Safari (Zoo) Raipur, after the attempt to meet for two consecutive days was not successful.
Under this, both the healthy cubs have been released to Jungle Safari (Zoo) Raipur with the help of Veterinarian Mr. Mithlesh Uppal. In this entire campaign, Range Officer Mr. Ajay Kavren, Assistant Range Officer Mr. Santosh Lankan (Forest), Mr. Raju Kashyap (Forest) and Mr. Vijay Dammur (Forest Guard). Mr. Hrithik Raj Chapa (Forest Guard) and Mr. Santosh Yalam, Mr. Vinod Vasam, Mr. Santosh Tinge, Mr. Dashrath Yalam, Mr. Vijay Vasam, villagers of Cherpalli made commendable contribution.
