Dhamtari. The DEO has suspended two teachers for negligence in work. The District Education Officer has suspended the assistant teacher of Araud for being absent from duty and coming to school after drinking alcohol and the assistant teacher of Sejes Kandel for indiscipline
According to the order issued by DEO TR Jagdalle, on the basis of a complaint from the Block Education Officer Dhamtari, Milan Singh Dhruv, Assistant Teacher (LB) Government Primary School Araud Lilar was unauthorizedly absent for a total of 35 days as per the records (Pathkan) from January 1, 2024 to November 9, 2024. Apart from this, a complaint was received about attending school after consuming alcohol. A show cause notice was issued on this, but when the answer was not found satisfactory, an investigation was conducted in the complaint case. On the basis of the report submitted, Milan Singh Dhruv, Assistant Teacher (LB) Government Primary School Araud Lilar was suspended with immediate effect under Rule 9 and 10 of CG Civil Services (Classification Control and Appeal) Rules 1966.
Similarly, departmental enquiry was conducted on the basis of complaint received from Principal, Swami Atmanand Utkrisht English Medium School, Kandel against Lavni Sahu, Assistant Teacher (Laboratory). According to the enquiry report submitted by the enquiry officer, the allegation levelled against Lavni Sahu, Assistant Teacher (Laboratory), Government Higher Secondary School, Kandel was found to be true. Indiscipline and arbitrariness are being repeated continuously by Lavni Sahu. On the basis of the report submitted by the enquiry officer, Lavni Sahu was suspended with immediate effect under Rule 9 and 10 of CG Civil Services (Classification Control and Appeal) Rules 1966. The suspension of both is fixed at the Head Office Block Education Officer, Dhamtari. During the suspension period, they will be eligible for subsistence allowance as per rules.
