Police officers were transferred on a large scale in Chhattisgarh on Monday. These include 3 IPS, 25 State Police Service officers and 50 police station in-charges. IPS Yashpal Singh has been made the new Superintendent of Police of Mohla-Manpur-Ambagarh Chowki district. Ratna Singh, who was the SP there, has been given the responsibility of AIG administration in PHQ.

Ajatshatru Bahadur Singh, who was till now the SP of ATS, has been appointed as the new director of SDRF. However, all three appointments have been made on a temporary basis. In this regard, Home Department Under Secretary Manoj Kumar Srivastava has issued an order.

91 policemen sent to NIA

Earlier, DGP Ashok Juneja released the transfer list of police station in-charges and constables. Of these, 91 policemen have been attached to NIA. At the same time, out of 50 police station in-charges, half i.e. 25 have been transferred to Naxal areas.

Home Minister Vijay Sharma said that the policemen who were stuck in the plains for a long time have been deployed in Naxal affected areas. Now there will be a one-to-one fight with the Naxalites. Our aim is to make Chhattisgarh Naxal free as soon as possible.
