After the swearing in of 9 ministers in the Vishnudev Sai government of Chhattisgarh, there is now a 12-member cabinet. There are also 2 Deputy CMs. BJP does not want to allow its government to be projected among the people like a one man show. In such a situation, balanced distribution of power and authority will be seen among the departments.

After the meeting of the CM and both the Deputy CMs with the central leadership, it is believed that the portfolios will be given soon. There is talk that the Chief Minister can keep the Finance and General Administration departments with himself. This department has been with the Chief Minister for the last 20 years in the state. Along with this, public relations, minerals and energy departments can also be kept with themselves. The tradition related to the Chief Minister’s department will be broken.

Till now, it has been a tradition that the Chief Minister of the state keeps departments like Finance, Public Relations, Minerals, Energy with him. However, this tradition may be broken in this government. There is a strong possibility that some powerful departments will go to two Deputy CMs. In such a situation, the Energy and Mineral Department may be divided between two Deputy CMs.

For the first time in the election campaign, bulldozing statements were made regarding law and order and its effect was visible as soon as the government was formed. It is believed that due to his legal knowledge, Sao can get the Home Department. He is the Deputy CM of the state, hence he will have important departments. To balance power, Sao can also be given energy and mining portfolios.

He is Deputy CM, according to his image he can get these departments. Sharma played an important role when there were movements on the housing issue while being in the opposition. Housing issue has been important among the issues on which BJP has contested the elections. Therefore, only a strong minister can be given this responsibility.

Lakhan Lal Dewangan – Urban Administration Department, Village Industries

Reason- Tankaram Verma has been a teacher. When Kedar Kashyap was the School Education Minister, he was also his PA. Understands the work of ministers, has been politically active in the rural areas of Raipur for a long time, being from a rural background, he can be given these departments. .

So what will happen to the old leaders?

Brijmohan Aggarwal- PWD, Revenue and Excise, Parliamentary Affairs

Reason – He has long experience of running departments like PWD, Home, School Education. This time, if not PWD then Brijmohan can be given Transport Department or Excise Department. According to the combination that BJP has shown by bringing new and old faces in the cabinet, key departments can be given to old leaders. Brijmohan Aggarwal also has experience in parliamentary work. Therefore he can be made Parliamentary Affairs Minister.

Kedar Kashyap- Forest, Tribal Welfare Department

Reason – Recently, Kedar kept making election strategies by holding the important post of General Secretary in the organization. The issue of tribals is important for BJP in terms of Lok Sabha elections, hence there is talk of giving them this department. simultaneously
