On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), the price of gold delivered in October, 2020 at 11:10 am was down by Rs 363, or 0.70 per cent, to Rs 51,461 per 10 grams. In the previous session, the closing price of gold was Rs 51,824 per 10 grams. At the same time, the price of December contract gold was down by Rs 363, which was 0.70 per cent, at Rs 51,625 per 10 grams. At the close of the futures market on Wednesday, the gold price of December 2020 contract stood at Rs 51,988 per 10 grams.
Silver Price in Futures Market
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, the silver price of December 2020 contract was trading at Rs 67,912 per kg at 11:24 am, falling by Rs 869, or 1.26 per cent. In the previous session, silver for delivery in December was at Rs 68,781 per kg. At the same time, the price of silver for the March 2021 contract was at Rs 70,229 per kg, with a decrease of Rs 839, ie 1.18 per cent. On Wednesday, March 2021, the contracted silver price stood at Rs 71,068 per kg.
Gold Price in International Market
If we talk about gold prices in the global market, according to Bloomberg, the price of gold delivered on COMEX in December 2020 was $ 19.70, or 1.00 per cent, at $ 1950.80 an ounce. In the spot market, gold was down by $ 16, or 0.82 per cent, to $ 1,943.26 an ounce.
Silver Price in International Market
Like gold, the price of silver is also falling in the international market. Silver for delivery in December 2020 was down by $ 0.51, or 1.86 per cent, at $ 26.97 an ounce on Comex. At the same time, silver was trading at $ 26.78 an ounce in the spot market with a decrease of $ 0.38, ie 1.41 percent.
