The three-day National Tribal Dance Festival and Rajyotsava are going to start colorfully on November 1. Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel will inaugurate it at the Science College ground in the capital Raipur at 11 am. The decoration of the Science College ground is being finalized to welcome the guests. The main stage, pandals and stalls are being beautifully decorated.
For the coming three days, the rainbow colors of the diverse tribal culture of the country and abroad will be scattered on the stage of the National Tribal Dance Festival. This is the third time for this unique event of Chhattisgarh government. Year after year the popularity of this event is increasing in the country and abroad. There will be many attractions for the visitors to come during this event. With the rich culture, tradition and folk arts of the tribes, people will get a glimpse of Chhattisgarh’s four-year development journey.
Tribal artists from 10 countries have reached Raipur
to perform their art in the National Tribal Dance Festival, the process of dancers from all over the country and abroad continues to come. So far, out of nine countries, dancers from Togo, Mozambique, Serbia, Indonesia, Maldives, Mongolia, New Zealand, Russia, Rwanda and Egypt have reached the capital Raipur. 1500 tribal artists from different states and union territories of the country will participate in this dance festival including 100 artists from abroad.
A collection of unique artifacts will be seen in Shilpgram
Shilpgram centered on tribal folk arts and crafts has been built in the central area of the Science College grounds. 40 stalls will be set up in Shilpgram. Where you will get to see a unique collection of artefacts made by famous craftsmen, artists, weavers, self-help groups of the state. In these, artefacts made from household items, artistic decorative items, bell metal, iron crafts, woodwork, bamboo crafts, clay crafts will be available for display and sale.
21 departments stall in development exhibition
During the Rajyotsava, stalls of 21 departments of the state government will be set up in the development exhibition. These include Agriculture Department – Fisheries, Animal Husbandry, Horticulture Department and other related components, Energy Department, Panchayat and Rural Development Department, Urban Administration and Development Department, Public Relations Department, Culture and Tourism Department, Tribal, Scheduled Caste and Development Department including many departments. Stalls have been set up. Various models, pictures, audio-video short films of departmental schemes will be showcased live in the stalls. People will be informed about departmental schemes and achievements through pamphlets and brochures.
In the food zone, you will get the taste of delicious dishes,
along with this, there will also be a food zone decorated with many delicious dishes including Chhattisgarhi dishes. 24 stalls will be set up in the food zone, where people will be able to taste other delicious delicacies along with Chhattisgarhi cuisine.
There will also be stalls of industries and PSUs
Stalls of various industries and PSUs will be set up in the theme hangar at the venue. Stalls of various industries including BALCO, BSP, SECL, NTPC, NMDC are being set up in the theme hangar. For commercial stalls, 40 stalls have been set up at designated places. A book fair is also being organized during this time. Health Help Center has also been established.
