Raipur, 18 October 2021: Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel, who reached Jagdalpur to attend the world famous Bastar Dussehra for the development of Bastar, today on the second day of his stay at Girola in Bakwand development block, discussed with priests, Sirhas, Gunias and heads of society. . On his arrival at Girola, the priests, Sirhas, Gunias and heads of society gave him a warm welcome.

Addressing the program organized in Mata Hinglajin temple complex, Chief Minister Shri Baghel said that it is the job of all the governments to build roads, schools and buildings. But the aim of our government is to develop the person along with building roads, schools and buildings. Along with the nutrition and malaria-free Bastar campaign, we have started reopening the closed schools here. We have made arrangements to give food grains to the poorest of the poor. Along with this, the economic condition of the people is continuously being improved through the purchase of paddy, forest produce, cow dung and tendu leaves. He said that the state government is also going to give 6 thousand rupees annually to the landless under the Rajiv Gandhi Bhumiless Krishi Mazdoor Nyay Yojana. In the program, the Chief Minister announced to operate SDM office for 15 days in a month and construction of stadium at Bakavand tehsil headquarters.

The Chief Minister said that industries would be set up in Bastar without the acquisition of tribal land. For this no tribal will be removed from his land. Factories and factories will be set up in government land. 90 percent of these jobs will be given to the local people. He said that now a new identity of Bastar is being created in the country and the world. Tamarind candy is being made from tamarind in Sukma, Denex brand clothes from Dantewada are reaching other states. In a discussion with the heads of the society, the Chief Minister said that there would be no shortage of funds for the development of Bastar.
