Shri Soni said that after the way the Congress city government has proved ineffective by making big promises, Dhebar is now trying to avoid fulfilling the aspirations of the people. In fact, all the Congress leaders including Mayor Dhebar are completely away from the ground problems and the measures for their meaningful solution and hence the entire Congress has lost public trust.
Taking a sharp dig, BJP MP Soni said that all the political leaders including Dhebar, the Congress leaders, in the last five years of their rule, have only tried to protect the interests of liquor traders, sand mafias, land mafias, builders engaged in black money and scamsters and to protect their own interests. -He was concentrating all his efforts on filling his coffers. Soni said that if a common man had known the problems and had focused on concrete measures to solve them, there would have been no need to make statements like ‘the problem will persist’. It is futile to expect the Congress, whose entire political history has been to create problems, to think of solving the problems.
BJP MP Soni said that if there is no political effort left in Dhebar to solve the problems of the city, then feeling ashamed after his statement, he should immediately resign the post of mayor and any BJP councilor should be made the mayor.
