Raipur. Under the Chief Minister’s Labor Pension Scheme in Chhattisgarh, pension was issued to eight more workers who have completed 60 years on Wednesday. Industry and Labor Minister Lakhan Lal Devangan issued pension to 2 workers from Mahasamund, 4 workers from Bemetara, and one worker each from Rajnandgaon and Durg.
Let us tell you that for the benefit of the construction workers of the state and their better living, the Chhattisgarh government started the pension scheme on 29 March 2024. Under this scheme, the pension amount is being sent directly to the accounts of eligible construction workers. Apart from this, workers will get many other benefits under the scheme.
On this occasion, Industry and Labor Minister Lakhan Lal Devangan said that the Vishnudev government of the state is a well-wisher of the workers. The government’s full intention is that the workers should get maximum benefit from the scheme. For the benefit of the workers and their better living, the benefit of the construction workers’ pension scheme is being given to the workers. In which the pension amount of the eligible construction workers will be sent directly to their account.
Cabinet Minister Dewangan said that under this scheme, registered construction workers who have completed 60 years of age will be given Rs 1500 as pension every month. Apart from this, there is also a provision to give a monthly pension of Rs 750 to the dependent (husband/wife) of the construction worker after the death of the pensioner construction worker.
