According to the information, more than 6 people have been targeted by rabies infected jackal in two days. The injured include women and men including two small children.

According to the information, four people were injured in Manjurha forest village today due to the attack of a rabies infected jackal, who were treated at the 50-bed community hospital in Lormi. So far, more than 15 people have been attacked and injured by jackals in the ATR area including Khudiya area, whose treatment has also been done by the forest department. After this incident, the villagers in Manjurha and other areas of ATR area are living in fear. Actually, jackals are attacking the villagers at any time. Villagers are afraid of their attack.

More than 15 villagers have been targeted

So far more than 15 people have been injured in jackal attacks, due to which there is panic among the villagers. According to sources, the mating season of jackals is going on right now, in which there are more males and less females. During this time, rabies spreads among jackals after fighting among themselves, due to which this incident is happening now.

Regarding this incident, ATR SDO Manvendra Kumar Markande said that in these two days, 6 people have been targeted by the rabies infected jackal, and the villagers affected by its attack were treated at the community hospital in Lormi.

He has also asked the villagers of ATR area to be cautious. He has appealed to them to take care of their children while going out of the house at night and to carry a stick and torch in hand.
