Raipur. The state government has issued a chargesheet against suspended IPS Sadanand Kumar in the Balodabazar violence case. The chargesheet given to Sadanand states that suspended IPS Sadanand Kumar was posted as Superintendent of Police District Balodabazar-Bhatapara from 8 February 2024 to 12 June 2024. The letter states that on the intervening night of 15-16 May 2024, a crime was registered at the Girodpuri police station for cutting and throwing away 3 Jaitkhaams, the symbols of faith of the Satnami community, and breaking and damaging the temple gate at Amar Gufa in Girodpuri Dham. In this case, without proper supervision and without considering the seriousness of the case, without in-depth investigation on all points, the charge sheet was found to have been presented in the court on 05 June 2024. This act is a violation of Rule 3(2B) (xiii) of the All India Services (Conduct) Rules, 1968. Sadanand Kumar violated Rule 3(2B) (xiii) of the All India Services (Conduct) Rules-1968 due to not being dutiful and not acting with the best of judgment.
