, Balodabazar. The havoc of speed is not stopping in Balodabazar district of Chhattisgarh. On Monday, two separate road accidents took place in Kotwali police station area, in which 1 person died. At the same time, the front part of the car was badly damaged due to the collision with the veterinary vehicle.
1 person died after being hit by a capsule vehicle
The first incident is from village Risda, where a capsule vehicle hit the deceased Balram Yadav alias Balla. The youth died on the spot in the incident. The angry villagers blocked the road and demanded compensation for the deceased family and construction of a bypass road. At present, on receiving information about the incident, the Kotwali police has left for the spot.
Let us tell you that heavy vehicles pass through the only road in village Risda throughout the day, due to which more than 20 people have lost their lives so far. The villagers have been demanding a bypass road for a long time, but the administration pacifies the matter by just giving assurances after every accident. Former Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel had promised to build a road during the Vikas Yatra, but the bypass was not built even after the change of power. Despite the completion of 15 months of the BJP government, the situation remains the same. Accidents caused by high-speed vehicles are increasing the concern of the villagers.

The second incident is from Garden Chowk of Balodabazar. The vehicle of the veterinary department hit a car coming from Bhatapara. The car was damaged in the accident. The family travelling in the car narrowly escaped in the incident. It is being told that the vehicle was returning to the district headquarters after dropping the chicks, when this accident happened.
The Kotwali police has seized both the vehicles and started investigation. Let us tell you that due to lack of parking facility near hotels, shops and State Bank in Garden Chowk, vehicles are parked on the road, due to which there is a possibility of accident. The traffic signal is also often faulty, which further aggravates the problem.
