Raipur, 2May 2023, In Chhattisgarh, the speed of corona has slowed down a bit in the last two days. On Monday, 4211 samples were tested in the state, in which 219 corona infected patients were found. There has also been some decrease in the positivity rate. The positivity rate has been recorded at 5.20 percent in the state.
According to the data released by the Health Department, there are 2239 active patients across the state. Apart from this, a corona infected patient has died due to co-morbidity in Raipur, deaths with co-morbidities in the state have increased the concern of the government..
Corona patients met from 26 districts
The maximum number of 29 corona-infected patients have been found in Kanker district, while 20 patients have been confirmed in second place in the capital Raipur. Similarly, 17 patients have been found in Raigarh, 13 in Surguja, 13 in Durg, 12 in Mahasamund, 12 in Surajpur, 11 in Bemetara, 11 in Balod.
10 patients have been found in Rajnandgaon and 10 from Balodabazar. 5 patients have been confirmed from Bastar, 5 from Gorela Pendra Marwahi and 5 from Jashpur. The number of patients in Bijapur district is 4, 4 patients have also been found from Narayanpur. 3 patients have been confirmed from Janjgir Champa, 2 from Kabirdham, 2 from Gariaband, 1 from Bilaspur, 1 from Balrampur, and 1 from Sukma.
Why deaths due to co-morbidity became a cause of concern
In the last 10 days, the figures of death due to corona which have come to the fore, maximum number of deaths have occurred due to co-morbidity. Co-morbidity means the patient who died due to a serious illness other than corona. The patient who died on Monday was also due to co-morbidity.
