The Bharatiya Janata Party has chosen a candidate for the post of mayor of Raigarh Municipal Corporation, who sells tea. This story reminds us of the story of Prime Minister Narendra Modi selling tea. This time the BJP has surprised everyone by declaring Jivardhan Chauhan, a tea seller from Raigarh Municipal Corporation, as the mayor candidate, and this is being discussed everywhere.Regarding this, Minister OP Choudhary tweeted on Twitter and wrote that ‘Jivardhan Chauhan, a tea seller and a grassroots worker who has been working for the party for 29 years, has been made the Raigarh mayor candidate by the state BJP.’

Know who are the BJP candidates for Raigarh Municipal Corporation

BJP has declared Jivardhan Chauhan as its candidate for the post of Mayor reserved for Scheduled Caste (Free) of Raigarh Municipal Corporation. Jivardhan Chauhan is one of the old workers of BJP.

Jivardhan Chauhan, a resident of Sonkar Para, Railway Colony, Raigarh, joined BJP in 1996, after which he was made the ward president in 1998. After being included in the BJYM city executive in 2004, he was appointed city minister in the organization in 2005, city vice-president in 2006, city general secretary in 2008 and city president of the organization in 2011. From 2023 to 2024, he also held other responsibilities along with State Minister Aaja Morcha and District BJP Working Committee Member.
