Surajpur/13 August 2022. Today Collector Ms. Iffat Ara and District Panchayat CEO Ms. Leena Kosam inspected the ongoing fish seed production work in the fish seed farm Basdei. During this, it was informed by the Assistant Director of Fisheries Department, Shri MS Sonwani that the target of producing 3 crore fish seed spawn has been achieved from the department in the year 2022-23. Whose 100% achievement has been achieved till date and from August 16, fish seed fry, fingerling will be started to be provided to the fish farmers of the district on 50 percent subsidy. The Collector instructed the beneficiaries to distribute fish seeds within the time period. During the inspection, the field in-charge Shri Ramswaroop Pepper, Assistant Fisheries Officer and other departmental officers, employees were present.
