Under the Vandhan Vikas Yojna in Surajpur, the district mandal, in the year 2020-21, 38 types of minor forest produce at minimum support price and 14 types of minor forest produce at union rate 44 collection centers (hot markets) and women self help groups in 132 village level collection centers. Purchase has started by This year the district union has been set a target of 20 thousand 445 quintals. And additional employment will be available to about 20 thousand collectors.
Forest Officer, JR JR Bhagat has appealed that all the minor forest produce collectors are expected to sell the best quality forest produce at the collection center approved by the Union at the minimum support price. Fruit has been fixed at Rs 28, Patal Kumhara Rs 30, Indrajou (Korea Seed) Rs 150, Rangini Behan Lakh Rs 220, Kusumi Behan Lakh Rs 300, Ashwagandha Rs 325, White Musli Rs 650. Mahul leaf has been fixed at Rs 15.
