Sukma, 22 July 2020. Eight members of the District Planning Committee were elected unopposed today. The election proceedings of the members of the District Planning Committee were completed by the presiding officer Shri OP Kosaria in the meeting hall of the District Panchayat. Nomination papers were filed for the election of seven members from rural areas and one member from urban areas. After scrutiny of nomination papers, Mr. Raju Nag, Mrs. Benmati Thakur, Mrs. Phuleshwari Baghel, Mrs. Daymati, Mrs. Adamma Markam, Mrs. Gujmo Sangeeta, Mr. Karatam Muya and Mr. Punem Hurra from urban area were declared unopposed elections from rural areas. . The Presiding Officer provided the election certificate to all the newly elected members.
