hhattisgarh EOW has arrested Dilip Pandey, the state head of Prism Holography Company, which supplies duplicate holograms. During interrogation, it was learnt that hologram printing was done in the ground floor room of GST Bhawan office in Nava Raipur.
The EOW team has seized the hard drive of the industrial computer connected to the setup. Through which the serial numbers of duplicate holograms were printed. Apart from this, many important documents have also been recovered.
Evidence of liquor scam found
EOW said that important documents related to the transportation of duplicate holograms are being investigated. Along with this, important evidence related to duplicate holograms in the liquor scam has also been found. The company that supplied duplicate holograms, Prism Holography Security Films Private Limited, used to get duplicate holograms printed from the company’s headquarters in Noida and send them to Raipur.
The documents used for its transportation have been recovered from the accused Dilip Pandey. These documents contained details of the number of duplicate holograms and other things. These documents are being investigated.
Fake holograms were delivered to distilleries from 2019 to 2022
During the interrogation of the accused, it has also been confirmed that the main accused of the syndicate, retired IAS Anil Tuteja, businessman Anwar Dhebar, Vidhu Gupta, owner of Prism Holography in the syndicate of Arunpati Tripathi, who was the Special Secretary of the Excise Department, had provided fake holograms to the distilleries of Chhattisgarh between 2019 and 2022.
