State GST offices will remain open on holidays, State Tax Commissioner issued order

Raipur. State GST offices will remain open even on holidays in the last days of the financial year. State GST offices will remain open on Sunday and Monday. There will be work in the office on Monday, the day of Eid. For this, the State Tax Commissioner has issued orders to the State Tax Joint Commissioner of all divisions.

It is written in the order that the Finance Ministry of the Government of India has said in a circular that CGST offices will remain open on 29, 30 and 31 March and normal work will be carried out in them. Officers and employees working in all divisional and subordinate circle offices under the State Tax (GST) Department will have to be compulsorily present on 29, 30 and 31 March.

The Finance Ministry of the Government of India has also issued an order to keep the Central GST offices open on holidays. The order states that the Central GST offices will remain open on the last days of the financial year, i.e. 29, 30 and 31 March.
