On September 14, the country’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi reached Raigarh. Deputy CM Singhdev was on the stage from the state government’s side. In his address, Singhdev praised the Prime Minister. After this, political uproar started in the state. Amidst the continuous reactions, Singhdev’s clarification came out on Saturday, he tweeted his side.

TS Singhdev wrote- There has always been a tradition of hospitality in our state and the entire country. At an official forum, some things were said keeping in mind the dignity of the Prime Minister. I did not want to get involved in the politics of allegations and counter-allegations through the platform. And, my statement was only related to the demands of my department.

Singhdev then said this from the stage
In his address, Singhdev said that I am fortunate to have got the opportunity to receive the Prime Minister on the soil of Chhattisgarh. Sir, you are very welcome to Chhattisgarh. The work that is being done by attracting attention through the centre. In the federal system of our Constitution, the state has always been working under the guidance of the Center while fulfilling its responsibilities.

And I would not like to say that in my experience I did not feel any discrimination. If we worked and demanded from the state, then as a right and as a partner, we were never hindered by the central government. (Hearing this, Prime Minister Narendra Modi folded both his hands; the crowd present at the program was also seen applauding)

not accepting the truth
Retired IAS, former principal secretary of the state and now BJP leader Ganesh Shankar Mishra surrounded the Congress leaders. Even after praising Singhdev, Congress leaders kept blaming the Central Government, on Singhdev’s clarification, Mishra said – Sir, what you said are facts! If we look at the financial technicalities between the Centre-State, it is due to the inability of the State Government to provide matching funds that 16 lakh poor families of Chhattisgarh have been deprived of Prime Minister’s Housing, the responsibility of which is the financial mismanagement of the Government. The problem is that your leader does not accept that anyone speaks the truth even on a public platform.
