E-inauguration and online foundation laying at hands of Chief Minister.
Raipur, 6 October 2020. Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel today inaugurated and laid foundation of various development and construction works worth nearly Rs 154 crore 63 lakh for Saraguja district, via video conferencing from his residence office today. Chief Minister said that Sarguja has performed commendably well in the sector of cleanliness and innovation. People of Sarguja have glorified the name of Chhattisgarh with their significant contribution. Chief Minister congratulated the District Administration, Municipal Corporation, Corporators and people of Sarguja for this achievement in cleanliness sector.
On the occasion, Chief Minister announced construction of two bridges and 4 rural roads. Chief Minister also felicitated Bank Sakhi with certificate for their excellent work. In-charge Minister of Sarguja and Urban Administration Minister Dr Shiv Kumar Daharia presides over the programme. Panchayat and Rural Development Minister Mr.TS Singhdeo, School Education Minister Dr. Premsai Tekam, Food Minister Mr. Amarjeet Bhagat attended the programme online.
Chief Minister said in his address to the programme that Chhattisgarh Government is committed to ensure accelerated devlopment of Sarguja district. State Government is taking every possible measure to promote education, health, hygiene and employment in this district. He directed Sarguja District Administration and Municipal Corporation to expedite the implementation of its priority schemes. He appreciated the initiative of restarting carpet weaving work in Mainpat to provide employment tk localites. Mr. Baghel asked the officials to make efforts for large-scale commercial production of carpets and marketing of the same at national and international level. ON request of Food Minister Mr. Amarjeet Bhagat and Lundra MLA Dr Preetam Ram, Chief Minister announced construction of bridge on Machhli Nadi in Suplaga of Mainpat block, road construction from Pent to Pidhia, bridge construction on GhunGhutta River en route Kardana to Kadnai, and several other road construction and road repairing works.On the occasion, Chief Minister handed over the keys of mini truck to Mahendra Tirkey and keys of tractor to Kailash Ram with best wishes. Both are beneficiaries under Antyavsayi Vitt Vikas Nigam.
In-charge Minister Dr Shiv Kumar Daharia, Food Minister Mr. Amarjeet Bhagat and School Education Minister Dr Premsai Tekam also addressed the programme and shared the vision and mission of Chhattisgarh Government under the leadership of Chief Minister Mr.Bhupesh Baghel. In the program, Chairman of Chhattisgarh State Forest Medicine Plant Development Board Mr. Balakrishna Pathak, Chairman of Labor Welfare Board Mr. Shafi Ahmed, Vice President of Twenty Point Program Implementation Committee, Mr. Ajay Agarwal, Chairman of Chhattisgarh Food Commission, Mr. Gurupreet Singh Babra, Mayor Dr. Ajay Tirkey , District Panchayat President Mrs. Madhu Singh and Vice President Mr. Rakesh Gupta and other public representatives and dignitaries were present.
