Raipur. In Raipur you will be able to experience the charm of Indian arts. The Regional Saras Fair 2024 has started in the sports complex of Science College Ground, GE Road. This fair will be held till 28th February. Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai inaugurated the fair. During this, Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Sharma, Raipur Lok Sabha MP Sunil Soni and cabinet ministers were also present. Saras Mela is being organized by District Administration Raipur under the leadership of District Panchayat CEO Vishwadeep. The CM, who reached the event, praised its grandeur and said that such events will provide employment to the women of self-help groups coming from other states including the state, and will also help them in leading their lives in a better way.
There will be display, sale of products of women self-help groups and artists and presentation of cultural programs in the fair. The daily fair will run from 10 am to 10 pm, in which you can experience Indian arts. Let us tell you that this time this fair looks grander and more organized than before.
Women from 11 states including Madhya Pradesh, Jharkhand, Punjab, Kashmir will participate in the Regional Saras Mela 2024, in which stalls of more than 200 self-help groups have been set up. In which they will display their handloom products for sale. Saras Fair is being organized by Chhattisgarh State Livelihood Mission ‘Bihan’. Regional Saras Fair has been organized with the aim of empowering women and giving market to the goods produced by self-help groups.
