Raipur. In view of the announcement of Lok Sabha elections, a joint delegation of Chhattisgarh Bullion Association and Raipur Bullion Association met the Deputy Chief Minister, Vijay Sharma and apprised him about the problems faced by the bullion traders during the Lok Sabha elections.
Under the leadership of Chhattisgarh Bullion General Secretary Narendra Duggad and Raipur Bullion Association President Suresh Bhansali, the members informed the Home Minister about the problems faced during the assembly elections. On which the Deputy CM listened carefully to the problems of the bullion traders and understanding the seriousness of the problem, asked senior officials to find a solution. Besides, traders were also instructed to keep necessary documents and identity cards with them.
Traders told through memorandum that after identification, gold and silver jewelery and cash should not be confiscated. Traders requested for cooperation in this regard. At the same time, senior officials also assured all possible help to the traders and said that after the implementation of the code of conduct, they have to take action as per the officials of the Election Commission. The delegation included Bullion Patron Rajendra Sharma, Chamber Treasurer Uttam Golchha, Bullion Association Secretary Deepchand Kotadiya, Chhattisgarh KET’s Co-Secretary Bharat Jain, Bullion Association Treasurer Jitendra Golchha, Vice President Harish Dag, Co-Secretary Dilip Tatia, Praveen Malu, Abhay Kothari, Other members were present.
