Raipur. Santosh Patel, General Secretary of South East Central Railway Mazdoor Sangh has now become the General Secretary of National Railway Mazdoor Sangh. The 21st Triennial National Convention of Indian Railway Mazdoor Sangh was held in Bikaner (Rajasthan) on 8 and 9 March 2025, in this convention, General Secretary of South East Central Railway Santosh Kumar Patel was appointed as the National General Secretary of Indian Railway Mazdoor Sangh and Tirumalesh Naidu ji was appointed as the National Executive Member.

Let us tell you that Central Railway Mazdoor Sangh was established in 1956. The founder president of this worker friendly organization Late S.M. Shukla played an important role in making it most popular among the railway workers and winning their trust. The Banyan tree that Late Shukla had planted was nurtured with blood and sweat by the current president, labour messiah Dr. R.P. Bhatnagar after his death in 1988 and today it has become a symbol of trust of all the workers of Central Railway.
