Kawardha. During the Bhoramdev Mahotsav in Kabirdham district on March 26, miscreants did a lot of vandalism during singer Hansraj Raghuvanshi’s performance. Hundreds of chairs were broken. Many people took the chairs to their homes after the program. Police have arrested the accused in this case. Police took out a rally in Kawardha city today by placing broken chairs in the hands of the accused.

ASP Pushpendra Baghel said that the miscreants have been identified through drone cameras and CCTV installed during the festival. By taking out a public procession of the miscreants, a strong message was given that whoever plays with the law and order will be exposed and sent behind bars.

Minors warned, legal action will be taken if they create disturbance again

The police arrested two accused on the very first day and sent them to jail. An FIR has also been registered against two other accused who stole the chair. So far, a total of 12 miscreants have been arrested and sent to jail, the search for the remaining absconding accused is on. 5 miscreants who were caught were found to be minors. The police called their parents to the police station and reprimanded them. The parents were made to write an apology letter that their children will not do such a thing in future. The police warned that strict legal action will be taken if they are caught again.
