Right to Education: Lottery conducted for more than 52 thousand seats in 7 districts, now poor students will study in big private schools.

Raipur. The dream of poor students studying in private schools of the state will come true. Under the Right to Education Act, poor students will now be able to study in private schools. Online lottery was conducted on Monday for admission in private schools. In this, seats were allotted to children in schools of 7 districts.Public Education Director Divya Umesh Mishra said that lottery was conducted for 74 thousand applications for 52 thousand seats. The lottery was conducted in the presence of students, parents, private school associations and media. Lottery was conducted for more than 52 thousand seats in the state. It will be allotted to more than 6 thousand schools.v

Allocated in seven districts on Monday. In the capital Raipur, out of 5126 seats, 4655 seats were allotted. Thus, out of 4293 seats in Durg, 3462 seats were allotted. Allocation was done for 3609 seats out of 4558 seats in Bilaspur. Allocation was done for 702 seats out of 761 seats in Jagdalpur. Out of 1252 seats in Jashpur, 895 seats were allotted.
Allocation was done for 1248 seats out of 1351 seats in Kawardha. Allocation was done on 1471 out of 1703 seats in Rajnadgaon.

Under RTI, children will have to be admitted in schools for 25 percent seats. Let us tell you that in the first phase, the lottery and allotment process for admission in schools will be held from 20th to 30th May. The admission process in schools will continue from June 1 to 30.
According to the calendar prescribed for the action to be taken under RTE, new school registration (application) for the second phase and verification by the District Education Officer will be done from June 15 to 30.
