Flag hoisting will be done in government and public buildings
The main function in Raipur and other district headquarters will start from 9 am, in view of which, instructions have been given to complete the flag hoisting program in all government offices before 9 am, so that the officers and employees of these offices can participate in the main function of the district. Can. The national anthem will be sung collectively by department and office heads by organizing flag hoisting programs in their government offices. Flags will be hoisted in government and public buildings and lights will be lit on the night of 26 January. Ministers will hoist flags in district headquarters.
In the district headquarters, the ministers specified by the government will hoist the flag and take the salute of the parade and the Chief Minister’s message will be read out. In the letter issued by the General Administration Department, it has been clarified that there will be no parade at any other place except the district headquarters. Troops of Army (wherever available), Police, Municipal Army and Jail Guard will participate in the parade here. The programs organized at the function should be dignified and interesting.
Along with this, the flag will be hoisted by the District Panchayat President at the District Panchayat or Tehsil level and in such Municipalities/Nagar Panchayats whose headquarters are not at the block headquarters, by the President of the Municipality/Nagar Panchayat. In Panchayat headquarters, the flag will be hoisted by the Sarpanch and in big villages, by the village head, instructions have been given to sing the national anthem collectively.
