In Chhattisgarh, vehicle numbers will be registered with BH series. BH will be written instead of CG on the number plates of such vehicles. The Transport Department has issued the order. Under this, recently in the cabinet meeting, the state government had decided to implement Bharat (BH) series vehicle registration in Chhattisgarh.
Under the BH series implemented by the Government of India, tax for two wheelers and four wheelers will have to be deposited for two years at one go. Dainik Bhaskar talked to Transport Commissioner S Prakash regarding this. The official said that this rule will not be applicable for everyone. Normally, the registration of vehicles in CG series will continue. This is only for the employees of Central Department and such private companies who have to move between four states and get transferred. For BH series, only the guidelines of the Government of India will be valid and this registration will be done under them only.
What is the fee for installing BH number plate?
BH series number plates are divided into three different categories. In this, for vehicles costing less than Rs 10 lakh, a fee of 8 percent of the price of the vehicle will have to be paid to get Bharat Series number plate. After this, up to 10 percent charge will have to be paid for vehicles priced between Rs 10 lakh and Rs 20 lakh.
If the price of the vehicle is more than Rs 20 lakh, the owner will have to pay 12 percent of the vehicle price to get the BH series number plate. The fee rate depends on the changes in the rules of the state and Government of India. Who can get BH number plate installed in the vehicle?
Bharat series number plate can be installed by those people whose job is in defense i.e. any army or paramilitary force. Apart from this, Central Government and State Government employees can also get this number plate installed.
At the same time, people working in private companies can also get this number plate installed, but for this it is necessary that they work in a company whose offices are located in more than four states or union territories. How to do BH Series Apply for number?
To get BH series number plate installed, you will first have to get your documents verified from the transport officer. Then the vehicle owner will have to log in to the vehicle portal of MoRTH. This login can also be done with the help of automobile dealers while purchasing the vehicle.
The dealer will have to fill Form 20 on the portal on behalf of the owner. Private sector employees must fill Form 60 and submit an employee ID and work certificate.
