Raipur, 1 November 2021 :On the State Foundation Day, an exhibition of development works, achievements and schemes has been put up by various departments in the Rajyotsava organized by the State Government at the Science College ground. Chhattisgarh is a whole state full of forest, mineral and labor wealth. The toiling laborers here are employed extensively in agriculture as well as construction works and various industries. Along with providing the right remuneration to the registered laborers of the state by the Labor Department, many welfare schemes are being run for the workers in the age group of 18 to 60 years, including sister maternity assistance scheme for women workers, scholarship scheme for children. People coming to Rajyotsav are getting familiar with the schemes. Along with displaying the information of important schemes operated for the registered workers, the Labor Department is reaching out to the people through brochures, pamphlets, visual displays, So that the workers who are eligible under the schemes can take advantage of it. Through the exhibition, the Labor Department is being made aware about health and safety. Also, various health and safety related equipment – gloves, shoes, caps, protective equipment used to protect eyes and face from hot objects, acid etc. have been displayed.
