During the time of Congress government in Chhattisgarh, there was an allegation of making big transactions and making fake appointments in Rajnandgaon District Cooperative Central Bank, bypassing the rules, but despite the complaint, the matter was not being investigated. In such a situation, Pandaria MLA Bhavna Bohra brought this matter to the attention of the Assembly, after which Cooperation Minister Kedar Kashyap ordered an inquiry into it. Now the team has reached the District Cooperative Central Bank here to investigate these fake appointments.
Regarding this matter, District Cooperative Central Bank Chairman Sachin Singh Baghel said that during the Congress government, an administrator was appointed in the District Cooperative Bank and during his tenure of about two and a half years, continuous appointments were made here. Even after complaining about these appointments, no hearing took place. After the change of government, Pandaria MLA brought attention in the assembly, in which MLA Bhavna Bora wanted to know the government’s side, on which Cooperation Minister Kedar Kashyap said that an investigation should be done. In the preliminary investigation itself, it was found that rules were not followed in the appointments of 51 people. He said that appointments were given here bypassing the service rules. Permission was not even taken from the Registrar Cooperative Society for these appointments.
Allegations of large scale transactions were also made in the appointments made in the District Cooperative Central Bank, now this matter is being investigated. A team has been formed under the leadership of the Joint Register and this team has been reaching the District Cooperative Central Bank for two days and is investigating the people who have been appointed and the process that has been adopted for the appointment. Only the investigation of this team will reveal how much money was transacted for these fake appointments and who is guilty in this. Legal action can also be taken against those giving fake appointments.
