The Mahtari Vandan Yojana of the government is proving to be a game changer in the lives of women. This scheme empowers women economically and is also an example of inspiration, encouragement and self-reliance for them. The impact of Mahtari Vandan Yojana in the district is effective, positive and soothing. Under the Mahtari Vandan Yojana, women are receiving an amount of Rs 1000 in their accounts every month, which makes them happy and enthusiastic. Mrs. Sakun Dohatre, a resident of Dongargarh, had reached the Collectorate to participate in Jandarshan. She told that she is a housewife and she is receiving the amount of Mahtari Vandan Yojana every month and she is saving this amount. Mrs. Sarita Sahu, a resident of Dongargarh, told that she is a housewife and is depositing the amount received under this scheme every month in the post office in the name of her daughter. Mrs. Sarita Yadav of Ward No. 1 Navagaon, Rajnandgaon, told that she is working by joining the self-help group and she is getting financial help from this scheme. They are saving this amount for the future. All the women thanked Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai wholeheartedly for the Mahtari Vandan Yojana and assistance.
