A one-day Rajyotsava program was organized at Pashri Govindram Nirmalkar Auditorium in the district. The chief guest of the Rajyotsav, MLA Durg Shri Arun Vora visited the stall and unveiled the organic insect repellent Neemao. Collector Taran Prakash Sinha visited the exhibition related to the use of organic insecticides in crop demonstrations and providing economic benefits to women’s groups.
In the exhibition, the activities implemented under the scheme by the Department of Agriculture and cadre departments were displayed. Various organic products were displayed in the exhibition stalls of the Agriculture Department. In the stall of Agriculture Department, farmers of Hitaguta, Piparkhar etc. villages of Block Outpost sold organic rice HMT, CG fragrant, Devbhog, Dubraj, Vishnubhog etc. Under Atma Yojana, organic insect repellent has been manufactured by the women’s group of Gothan village, which was sold by putting up stalls in the exhibition. During this, Neemaó, Brahmaó, Agneyaó, Bijamrut, Vermi Voss, Vermi Compost etc. were exhibited and sold. Kodo rice, Ragi rice, Ragi flour and Aarug honey of the honey collecting group of Vanachal village Dholpitta were sold in the exhibition. Sale of organic rice, wheat, black wheat, motijira wheat, black salt rice, organic prom, cowdung paint, organic fastfat etc. products made from cow dung by Mr. Khomlal Devangan, farmer of village Somajhitia of development block Chhuria and Mr. Jeevan Janghel, farmer of Katalwahi Dangargarh. Exhibition was held. The departmental exhibition was successfully organized under the guidance of Deputy Director Agriculture Shri GS Dhurve.
