Rajnandgaon 26 December 2021. An amount of Rs. 2 crore 98 lakh has been sanctioned by Collector Mr. Taran Prakash Sinha for the families of 596 persons who died due to Kovid in the district. After approval, the amount has been reallocated to the concerned Tehsildar. All Tehsildars have been directed to immediately pay Rs 50,000 to the next of kin of each of the deceased in the approved case.
A total amount of Rs 2 crore 70 lakh 50 thousand has been paid to the families of 541 persons who died due to Kovid earlier in the district. In this way, so far in the district, approval has been given for payment of Rs.5 crore 68 lakh 50 thousand to the kin of those who died due to 1137 Kovid.
