Gariaband. Endowments and Religious Trusts Minister Brijmohan Aggarwal held a meeting in Rajim on Saturday regarding the Rajim Kumbh Kalpa event. During this, he said that Shri Ram Lala has returned home to Ayodhya after years. It is being celebrated as a festival throughout the country. He also called for celebrating Rajim Kumbh Kalp as Ramotsav. He said that the grandeur of Rajim Kumbh will return again. Rajim Kumbh Kalp will be organized with great pomp and joy. Rajim Kumbh Kalp will be organized from 24 February to 8 March this year. During this period there will be three virtuous baths. A large number of Naga Sadhu Saints from across the country will also come to Kumbh. After taking information about the preparations being done by all the departments for the grand event of Rajim Kumbh Kalpa, the Minister gave instructions to complete all the preparations within the stipulated time. He directed the officials of Gariaband, Raipur and Dhamtari districts to coordinate and submit an action plan for the preparations to be done by all the departments within 7 days. He said that the grandeur of Rajim Kumbh is returning after five years, hence world class saints Bageshwar Dham Baba Pandit Dhirendra Mishra and Pandit Pradeep Mishra will also come here.
The minister took information about the preparations from the PWD officer. After taking information about the ongoing work in the under construction road from Raipur to Gariaband including the road leading to Chhura, Jatmai, Ghatarani, Dhamtari road and Rajim Mahasamund, he gave instructions to complete the construction work and make it motorable. Besides, instructions were given to continuously sprinkle water to protect against dust flying on the roads. He also gave instructions to ensure that there are no potholes in the roads leading to Rajim. The electricity department asked about lighting, transformers, generator arrangements, decorations, lighting in bridges, etc. during the Kumbh Mela. Also instructions were given to ensure adequate power supply. Instructions were given to the PHE department to provide adequate water supply at the fair venue and to construct about 300 toilets. Apart from this, he also gave instructions to ensure other necessary facilities.
